Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and
authentication details via Firebase Authentication.
Book and library data: Books you scan, search for, or save to your library,
including barcode/ISBN data captured through your device camera.
Camera access: Used only to scan book barcodes. Images are processed on-device
to extract barcode data and are not stored or uploaded.
Purchase information: If you subscribe to a premium plan, purchase details are
processed by RevenueCat and the relevant app store (Google Play). We do not receive or store your
payment card details.
Usage data: Basic app usage and diagnostic information to help us maintain and
improve the App.
How We Use Your Information
To provide core features such as book scanning, personalized recommendations, and your saved library.
To manage your account and sync your data across devices.
To process subscriptions and purchases.
To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to
operate the App, including:
Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure.
Google Books API — to retrieve book details based on your searches or scans.
RevenueCat — to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases.
These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
Data Retention
We retain your account and library data for as long as your account remains active. You can request
deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us below.
Your Choices
You can access, update, or delete your saved library data from within the App.
You can request full account deletion by contacting us at the email below.
You can disable camera access at any time via your device settings; this will only affect barcode scanning.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an
updated revision date.
